FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.

I am unfit/ have zero level of flexibility. Can I still join?

Yes, 100%! Everyone starts somewhere, and our classes are designed for absolute beginners. No strength, flexibility, or experience needed. Just come as you are—we’ll help you build confidence, strength, and flexibility over time.

I want to start, but I am scared to come on my own. Any advice?

We totally get it—it’s nerve-wracking! But honestly? Coming solo is often the best way to begin. You’ll be more focused on your journey, and you’ll likely connect with others who are starting out just like you. Many of our closest pole friendships started this way.

Can I start if I am under 18?

Our classes are for adults only—participants must be 18 or older to attend.

Where are you based?

We are based in Stirling. Our address is:

Unit 150, Stirling Enterprise Park

Springbank Road

Stirling

I feel like Pole will be too intimidating for me to realistically try. Any advice?

Such a relatable question! The stereotype of primarily female environments being cliquey and bitchy gets well and truly put to bed when entering our studio. Community is one of our main benefits we have to offer, with every newbie who joins being welcomed in with open arms. You CAN sit with us!

I'm desperate to try, but my anxiety is holding me back. Any advice?

This is actually our most frequently asked question. We completely understand how intimidating it can feel to start something new. You’re not alone, and we’ve got your back. Our top priority is creating a safe, supportive space where everyone feels comfortable. All of our instructors are kind, understanding, and experienced in helping students work through nerves or low confidence. If you need some extra reassurance, don’t hesitate to message us—we’re happy to chat.

Can I drop into classes, or do I need to buy a block/membership?

Once you’ve completed one of our *Intro to Pole* courses or a set of four 1-to-1 sessions, you’re welcome to attend standard classes on a drop-in basis. That said, if you’re planning to train regularly, our monthly memberships offer much better value and can save you a significant amount over time.

I'm plus size. Can I still attend?

Absolutely. We welcome all bodies, and we’re proud to have created an inclusive, body-positive space where everyone feels seen and supported. No matter your shape or size, you deserve to feel strong, empowered, and proud of what your body can do.

Am I too old to Pole?

Not at all! You’re only as old as you feel, and we believe movement is for everyone. We have students of all ages (18+) in our classes—so if pole is calling to you, don’t let a number stop you.

I'm not sure which class to book. Can you help?

Of course! If you’re brand new to pole, our Intro to Pole courses or 1-2-1's are the perfect place to start. You’ll learn all the basics in a supportive setting. If you’ve got some pole experience already, you’re welcome to join our mixed-level classes, but please message us first so we can see which class would m be most suitable for you.

ALREADY BOOKED? HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT.

How do I find you/enter the studio?

We are located inside Stirling Enterprise Park. Please note, we do not have an external door, entry is gained via entrance A of the building. If the door is locked, please wait outside, we check the door 5 minutes before and on the class start time.

I'm running late. Can I still join?

We do not allow latecomers to join our sessions. It is mandatory that all participants complete the warm up. If you are late to class, please do not try and enter.

What should I bring to class?

All you need to bring for your first class is some water and a sweat towel. For our dance classes, knee pads and socks are essential.

Is there parking available?

We have a free car park right outside our doors.

What should I wear?

We highly recommend wearing or at least bringing shorts for fitness, and highly recommend socks & knee pads for dance.

What if I need to cancel a class?

We get it - life happens. If you need to cancel, this can all be done via our booking system. Please note, we have a 48 hour cancellation policy, so no refunds or adjustments will be made if you cancel within this time.

I've booked a course and can no longer make 1 or more of the dates. Can I transfer or get a refund?

All courses are non refundable and non transferable, so we will be unable to move or refund any sessions.

Are you near a train/bus station?

We are located just outside Stirling city centre, and are a 5/10 minute walk from the train and bus station.

I'm too nervous to wear shorts. Can I still attend?

The main thing to us is that you are comfortable, so if you'd prefer not to wear shorts, it won't be an issue. However, it will compromise skin grip, making some fitness moves a lot more difficult.

How many people will be in each class?

We have a limit of 2 people per pole, so the absolute limit will be 12 people per class. For our dance classes, the limit is 10 as the instructor also requires a pole.

Can men attend?

We are an inclusive space, so we welcome people of all genders. This is with the understanding that all members remain respectful to others.

What happens after completing an Intro to Pole course?

You can either book straight into one of our mixed ability classes, or you can also retake the course if you'd prefer to go over it all one more time.
